Position

Clinical Shift Supervisor – Full-Time / Non-Exempt

Shift Details: Days 7:00am–7:30pm;
Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and every other Wednesday

Work Location: Crisis - Peoria RRC/Retreat

Salary/Hourly Wage: $42.00–$43.00/hour

Sign-On Bonus: $2,000

Specialties / Licenses or Certifications
  • Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field from an accredited college or university.
  • Associate Licensure in good standing in an applicable Behavioral Health field required. Independent Licensure in good standing in an applicable Behavioral Health field preferred.
  • State designation as required per state regulations.
Summary of Job

The Shift Supervisor is responsible for monitoring the administrative needs of an assigned shift including utilization and capacity management, supplies, meals and maintenance requirements.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Provide leadership, coaching and supervision for all staff on the assigned shift.
  • Guide the implementation of the discharge planning process.
  • Guest Care & Advocacy: Complete assessments for individuals brought to the facility, developing treatment plans and recovery solutions in partnership with the individual. Partner with the individual to obtain collateral information from the individual’s support team (family, friends, case managers, and other programs).
  • Compliance &

    Risk Management:

    Determine provisional diagnoses, obtain documentation of medical necessity and submit authorizations for service in a timely fashion. Complete clinical documentation as required. Ensure Incident Reports are initiated, completed, reviewed and submitted according to policy. Stay current with federal and state regulations and Recovery Innovations policies. Adhere to the Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest Policies.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other related duties as assigned.

  • Education/Licenses
    :
    Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work or related field;
    Associate Licensure in good standing;
    State designation as required per state regulations.
  • Experience
    :
    Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory/management experience required.
  • Skills
    :
    Ability to complete comprehensive psychosocial assessments and treatment plans; basic computer skills; effective communication; excellent documentation skills; de-escalation training (per state requirements).
  • Driving
    :
    If driving is required, comply with Recovery Innovations’ driving policy; non-driver attestation if not qualified to drive.
  • Miscellaneous
    :
    Must be at least 18 years old (or as per state minimum); travel may be required; complete comprehensive credentialing; maintain confidentiality per HIPAA.
  • Background & Tests
    :
    Pass background check (seven-year), substance abuse testing and/or tuberculous testing (if applicable), education verification, fingerprinting clearance, and motor vehicle record checks if driving is required.
