Occupational Therapist PRN

Position Summary

Position Summary: Independently evaluates, determines the treatment strategies, delivers and/or delegates services that identify, prevent, remediate and rehabilitate acute or prolonged skill or ability impairment in order to maximize function in the areas of activities of daily living (ADL), leisure/recreation, and productivity/work. Addresses dysfunction in psychosocial skills, cognition, and sensorimotor components. Interventions and procedures to promote or enhance safety and performance in ADL, IADL, education, work, play, leisure, and social participation.

Pay: Rate of pay is based on years of experience and qualifications.

• Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained from the American Heart Association and/or American Red Cross. Online certification is not acceptable.

• Inpatient rehabilitation experience

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational, time management and prioritization skills.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Detail-oriented, able to meet strict time frames.
