Teacher​/Caregiver- Little Learner Preschool

Overview

Description for the Teacher/Caregiver - Lil' Learners Preschool at Sunrise Family Center in Peoria. The program is licensed for students ages 3 1/2 to 5 and is part of the Neighborhood and Human Services department. This role involves collaborating with school personnel to develop and grow a childcare program, supervising and engaging children through play and staff-led enrichment including literacy, arts and crafts, and STEAM projects.

The ideal candidate for this position includes being a results-oriented people person who is 16 years or older, loves working with children, can implement activities or programs with some direction, supervises and actively participates with children, and enjoys a fast-paced schedule with opportunities to make a difference.

ALL employees are required to work the July 4th Special Event in the summer.

• Supervise and monitor children in your care by actively participating with them through play and staff-led enrichment activities.
• Collaborate with school personnel to develop and grow the Lil' Learners program.
• Contribute to literacy, arts and crafts, and STEAM projects as part of daily activities.
