Any combination of experience and education that would provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be:
Experience: One year of clerical experience including some financial and statistical record keeping.
Knowledge Of:
- Principles and practices of financial record keeping.
- Municipal accounting system requirements and procedures.
Ability To:
- Work independently in the absence of supervision.

Education:
Any combination of experience and education that would provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be:
Experience: Two years of clerical experience with a minimum of one year performing accounting related duties.
