Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated and flexible Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our Federation team, providing high quality cover across St Mary’s Church of England School & Nursery and Madron Daniel School & Nursery.
This is an exciting opportunity to work across two nurturing village school communities, playing a pivotal role in ensuring continuity of learning through effective PPA and leadership release cover.
As an HLTA within our Federation, you will deliver planned learning across a range of classes and age groups, ensuring engaging, purposeful, and inclusive learning experiences for all pupils. Working closely with class teachers and senior leaders, you will help maintain high expectations and support pupils to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
We Are Looking For Someone Who:- Holds a recognised HLTA qualification or equivalent experience.
- Has proven experience across primary phases, with strong understanding of the National Curriculum.
- Demonstrates confidence in leading whole class learning independently.
- Shows excellent interpersonal and communication skills, working collaboratively across settings.
- Is organised, proactive, and adaptable within a small school and multi setting environment.
- Is committed to ongoing professional development and reflective practice.
- Values inclusion and diversity, supporting all pupils' needs across our Federation.
- Deliver high quality lessons across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 during PPA and leadership release cover, ensuring consistency and progression in learning.
- Contribute to planning and preparation, using teacher provided learning sequences to deliver engaging and well structured lessons.
- Provide assessment information to class teachers to support accurate tracking of pupil progress.
- Adapt teaching to meet pupils' varying needs, promoting an inclusive environment where every child feels valued.
- Build strong, positive relationships with pupils and staff across both schools and nurseries.
- Uphold the Christian values and inclusive ethos at the heart of our Federation.
