VALET ATTENDANT (FULL TIME AND PART TIME)

. The position is located at Ascension Sacred Heart Pensacola, 5151 North Ninth Avenue, Pensacola, FL 32504.

Provide optimal valet services to patients, guests and visitors by delivering the client’s vehicle in a safe manner and escorting the client in and out of the vehicle. The position is the first point of contact when patients and visitors arrive to the hospital and is responsible for providing "World Class" valet services.

• Ensure safe, timely and accurate delivery of the patient’s/guest’s vehicle to their destination.
• Demonstrate competency in driving all types of vehicles, including manual and automatic transmissions.
• Utilize proper body mechanics when lifting and transporting patients/guests to and from the vehicle and wheelchair.
• Transport patients and medical equipment safely and ensure the patient/guest is comfortable.
• Collect and return wheelchairs to the proper holding areas and disinfect the equipment after use.
• Respond to emergency activities such as code calls and disasters.
• Perform general clean‑up of the grounds surrounding Valet and Parking lots.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Must be able to operate automatic and manual transmission vehicles, including sub‑compact, compact, full‑size, SUV, vans, and golf carts.

Full‑time and part‑time schedules. Monday through Friday, 7:00 am–3:30 pm, 8:00 am–4:30 pm or 9:00 am–5:30 pm. Fixed pay rate: $15.00 per hour. Off on weekends and most holidays.
