Job DescriptionThe basic function of the Sprinkler Helper is to work with and learn from the Sprinkler Fitter on installation and service of fire suppression systems. We seek a candidate who is eager to learn, customer‑focused, and a diligent team player.
Responsibilities- Assist Fitter on install and service jobs; travel to job sites as required.
- Interact with customers daily.
- Follow safety rules and requirements.
- Other duties as required.
- 0–1 year of experience.
- Excellent administrative, organizational, and computer skills.
- Good mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to adapt to changing needs and provide excellent customer service.
- Effective verbal and written communication.
- Transport equipment and tools weighing up to 40 lbs.
- Valid driver’s license with clean record and no DUI convictions.
- Perform physical labour, carrying and moving equipment up to 70 lbs.
- Work in unusual positions, e.g., climbing ladders and scaffolding, working 60 ft high, inside ducts, crawl spaces, above ceilings.
- Read and understand construction blueprints, diagrams, and specifications.
- Work flexible hours.
