As a Plumber Apprentice, you will support commercial and industrial construction projects by installing plumbing systems and related materials.

Compensation
  • Wage range starting at $17.00+/hr, based on qualifications & experience.
Job Duties
  • Assist with commercial and industrial plumbing installation from underground/rough‑ins, stack out to trim‑outs on large‑scale construction projects such as healthcare, government, education, manufacturing and others.
  • Install hangers and supports for pipes, equipment, and fixtures prior to installation for water, gas, compressed air, medical gas and/or other liquids.
  • Use basic hand tools and read a tape measure.
  • Assist with the installation of materials such as copper, steel, cast iron, PVC, CPVC, PEX, and other piping.
  • Assist with setting grease traps, decontamination tanks, oil interceptors, lint interceptors, utility hookups, etc.
  • Work off ladders, man lifts and other equipment from various heights.
  • Perform other related duties or special projects as assigned.
Requirements
  • 1 or more years of commercial plumbing experience preferred.
  • Current/valid apprentice license in applicable state.
  • Willingness to learn to read blueprints and shop drawings.
  • Knowledge of basic hand tools and ability to read a tape measure.
  • OSHA 10 certification preferred (company will provide if needed).
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, percentages, and decimals for routine measurements and calculations.

  • Initiative; self‑motivated (driven) and self‑starter.
  • Comply with and promote company Safety Policy.
  • Require basic mechanical aptitude and English language skills.
  • Analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Regular and punctual attendance; ability to work overtime if needed.
  • Ability to stand, squat, bend, stoop, and comfortably lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to pass a full background screening and drug screening.
  • Ability to travel, as needed, for projects.
