Security Officer - Armed Area Patrol

Allied Universal -  - Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to students, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at an educational location;
Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations;
Monitor entrances and common areas, help manage visitor access, and assist with directing foot and vehicle traffic during arrival, dismissal, and special events;
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation support and timely notification to site leadership and/or public responders as needed;
Complete required logs and reports, communicate observations to the Allied Universal supervisor and/or site contacts, and report maintenance hazards, damaged property, and/or suspicious conditions
