- Provide training and support to the sales team and assist in closing deals.
- Lead, motivate and coach the sales team to achieve revenue targets.
- Arrange for various financing avenues.
- Present customers with aftermarket options.
- Structure deals for maximum profitability, make credit decisions, and effectively close deals.
- Engage with customers to build a base of referrals and repeat business.
- Appraise trades.
- Help manage all aspects of the sales department and inventory lot.
- Understand dealership operations including all aspects of sales and finance.
- Must have proven and verifiable work experience as an automotive sales manager.
- Must be able to lead a team, complete follow‑up processes, analyze lead data and strategize to maximize sales opportunities.
- Auction experience is a plus.
- Steady work and performance history.
- Knowledge of dealership finance and insurance procedures and/or automotive sales experience is greatly valued.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Professional appearance, verbal/written communication, strong negotiation and presentation skills.
- Top problem‑solving skills.
- Organized, detail oriented and thrives in a fast‑paced environment.
- Must be a strong closer.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship and be a current resident.
- Pre‑employment background checks are required, including MVR, and drug screening.
