As a sales associate you will be the face of our company. You will highlight our brand and image while helping customers recognize the need for our products and services. You will be directly responsible for assisting customers and guiding them toward the right solutions. A positive, outgoing nature and a passion for serving others are essential.

• Proactively engage with customers.
• Ask questions and listen to customer needs.
• Direct customers to merchandise and inform them about upcoming events, promotions, mobile offers and the STAR card.
• Provide premier customer service.
• Build inclusive and respectful relationships and take accountability for your actions.

• Maintain store appearance.

• Cross‑sell products and know the store layout.
• Suggest latest trends and promotions based on individual customer needs.
• Upsell products.
• Learn product features and keep up with trends using company tools and technology.
• Process sales using a Point‑of‑Sales system (cash, exchanges, discounts, gift cards, credit cards, debit cards, and cash handling).
• Complete paperwork, reports, and reconciliation.

• Handle inventory processes and ensure merchandise is checked in and accurately ticketed.
• Participate in periodic inventories.

• Adhere to assigned work schedule.
• Complete work assignments accurately.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Basic product knowledge.
• Retail experience preferred but not required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to read, write, and interpret instructional documents.
• Telephone etiquette.
• Basic math skills.
• Multi‑tasking and flexibility.
• Teamwork and independent initiative.

This position involves constant moving, talking, hearing, reaching, grabbing, and standing for at least two consecutive hours. It may require stooping, kneeling, crouching, climbing ladders, and lifting 25‑50 lbs. Work is typically performed indoors but may be outdoors.

No experience required. High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
