Acosta is currently seeking motivated and career‑minded candidates to join its national network of retail merchandisers. The Merchandiser Mandate Retail Service is responsible for effectively working in teams to perform reset and remodel work, including reading and implementing plan‑o‑grams, new item placement, void corrections, and special merchandising activity. The ideal candidate is a self‑starter, quick learner, with strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
Whatwill you do?
- Read and follow plan‑o‑grams to complete reset and remodel projects accurately.
- Move and clean shelves, install racks and fixtures, display merchandise, place shelf strips and tags, check date codes, and process pack‑outs, restocks, and reorders.
- Partner with store personnel to achieve merchandising excellence.
- Report observations and issues to the Mandate Senior Area Manager or Mandate Area Manager.
- Use web‑based applications to manage schedules, accept assignments, participate in training, record times, track mileage and expenses.
- Prepare, process, submit, and manage documentation related to reset and remodel work.
- Follow safety procedures and promptly alert management to unsafe acts or conditions.
- Self‑starter and quick learner with strong attention to detail.
- Effective team player who builds positive relationships with store personnel.
- Clear and professional communicator with business partners and management.
- Adherence to safety protocols and standard operating procedures.
- Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel to multiple store locations.
- Minimum 1 year experience reading and using plan‑o‑grams; retail and reset experience preferred.
- Professional appearance.
- Computer with internet, email, and printing capabilities.
- Comfortable using technology, including smartphones and handheld devices.
- Able to lift and carry up to 60 lbs.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, decision‑making, and leadership skills.
- Ability or willingness to operate basic hand tools and equipment, such as hammers, screwdrivers, drills, and case cutters.
- Able to safely climb and stand on a step stool or ladder as needed.
