Estimated base salary: $22.50 to $26.47 per hour.

Armstrong World Industries, with over 90 years of experience, operates a facility in Pensacola manufacturing and distributing acoustical ceilings for commercial and residential installations. The Production Technician performs the following responsibilities:

• Safe and effective setup and operation of manufacturing equipment.
• Locate and adhere to process specifications and procedures.
• Maintain accurate reporting of product quality, equipment operation, inspection, packaging, and scrap reclamation.
• Assist in setting up operations during start‑ups and change‑overs.
• Maintain excellent housekeeping standards in work areas.
• Recognize and help diagnose product quality problems.
• Enforce safety rules and ensure compliance among all employees.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as required.

• High School diploma or GED.
• Pre-screen interview.
• Skill‑level evaluation.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, overtime, and weekends.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
