We're looking for a Business Systems Analyst who excels at understanding business needs, improving processes, and supporting system enhancements from concept to rollout. This role is ideal for someone analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working between technical teams and business partners.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze current processes, workflows, and data to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Gather, document, and translate business and technical requirements.
- Create workflow diagrams, data process documentation, and technical specifications.
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis to support decision making.
- Recommend and document process improvements.
- Support system integrations and troubleshoot conflicts between applications.
- Assist with software release planning and execution.
- Lead and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test plans and documentation.
- Perform root cause analysis and propose actionable solutions.
- Monitor system performance and collaborate with partners on solutions.
- Research best practices and emerging technologies to support business goals.
- Hands‑on experience performing root‑cause analysis and resolving operational/system issues.
- Experience using statistical methods, forecasting, or modeling in an analytical role.
- Experience leading cross‑functional projects or collaborative team initiatives.
- Working knowledge of data querying, reporting, and operations research techniques.
- Experience documenting and mapping business processes and workflows.
- Experience with market/consumer research or supporting strategic planning.
- Proficiency with SQL and VBA (must‑have technical skills).
- Strong analytical, organizational, and time‑management abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Advanced proficiency in spreadsheets, word processing, databases, and presentations.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Ability to interpret complex information and present it clearly to stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on process and system optimization.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
- A passion for improving business processes through technology.
- Confidence working with data and translating insights into action.
- Strong communication skills for partnering across teams.
- A continuous improvement mindset and willingness to solve complex problems.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pensacola, FL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $37.00/hr.
