Nightwing is supporting a proprietary customer contract and delivering technical support to customer management to enable mission accomplishment.
The Service Now System Administrator maintains the stability and usability of the Service Now platform by performing application maintenance, managing support for incidents related to Service Now applications, and contributing to releases by delivering configuration tasks and features.
Responsibilities- Manages and resolves incidents against Service Now applications
- Performs routine maintenance to include performance monitoring and error identification and remediation
- Manages Update Set creation and migration
- Schedules and verifies instance clones
- Participates in Service Now upgrade planning and execution
- Manages instance security, user/group access/ACLs
- Contributes to Service Now releases
- Adheres to internal standards, policies, and procedures
- Performs other duties as assigned
- U.S. citizenship
- Active Secret clearance, must be able to obtain a TS/SCI clearance
- Must be able to obtain DHS suitability
- Minimum 6+ years of systems administration experience
- Minimum 2+ years of experience with Service Now implementations
- Minimum 2+ years of experience with application experience:
Incident, Problem, Change Management, Knowledge, Service Catalog - Knowledge of principles, methods, and techniques used in Service Now system administration and support
- Experience supporting Intelligence, DoD, or DHS customers
- Experience with process development and deployment
- Angular JS
- Experience in JavaScript or related application development
- Experience with Service Now development APIs
- Web Service Integration (API/Web Services) experience
- LDAP integration experience
- Single sign‑on configuration and administration
- SQL experience
- Application experience: ITx, HR, ITOM, ITBM, CSM, Security, Asset Management (HAM/SAM), PPM, Platform/Integration, Portal/UI, GRC
- Service Now Implementation Specialist certified
- Service Now System Administration
BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or Computer Systems Engineering. Two years of related work experience may be substituted for each year of degree level education.
Desired Certifications- Service Now Certified System Administrator
- ITIL Foundation v4 (or willing to complete one year from hire)
- DODI 8570.1-M Compliance at IAT Level I
