Position Title: Part‑Time Catering Banquet Server
Reports To: Food & Beverage Manager
FLSA Status: Part‑Time, Non‑Exempt

Provide excellent service to our guests.

• Serve guests by performing the duties listed below.
• Responsible for the set‑up, service and breakdown of all meal functions, receptions and other related events.
• Be on time for each shift and in full uniform.
• Ensure the quality of service is neat and consistent with the standards of the Pensacola Bay Center.
• Follow the directions of captains, management and perform the service skills required for each type of event.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the department and keep properly handled.
• Follow proper sanitation procedures.
• Perform any other duties or responsibilities as assigned.

Daily contact with the Catering Banquet Manager, Executive Chef and Food & Beverage Manager.

This position requires stooping and lifting a minimum of 30 pounds to include carrying heavy trays. Substantial walking, long periods of standing, pushing and pulling must be performed. Manual dexterity to operate standard office equipment such as a computer is required.

Server must be able to work irregular hours as dictated by the event schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Must be able to work in a fast‑paced food service environment under crowded and loud conditions.

• Working knowledge of food and beverage operations including catering service standard procedures.
• Experience in food and beverage along with service skills.
• Must speak and understand English well enough to converse with customers, supervisors and employees.
