This job location is currently located in a Health Professional Shortage Areas (HPSAs) and/or Medically Underserved Areas/Populations (MUA/P) Shortage Designation Type.

Ascension Sacred Heart is looking for a certified APP (will consider both NP and PA applicants) to join our Orthopedic Trauma Surgery team in Pensacola, FL. Surgical experience is preferred.

Position Highlights:

• Join an established and busy orthopedic trauma practice
• Level II Trauma Center
• Live and work on the beautiful Gulf Coast of FL
• Surgical experience strongly preferred

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Physician Assistant credentialed from the Florida Physician Assistants obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

• Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program. Master’s degree preferred.

Work Experience:

• 1 year of experience preferred.
