Cameron‑Cole is hiring a Project Engineer III (CG08A/B) to support our growing operations in Florida. Hybrid work with in‑office presence preferred.
Essential Job Functions- Excellent communication with demonstrated advanced writing skills
- Build and maintain long‑term client relationships by providing technical expertise, attending meetings, and leading project developments
- Manage assigned projects, including budget tracking, invoice approval, team management, and high‑level consulting
- Participate in proposal and budget creation processes
- Design and operate remediation systems in accordance with state and local requirements
- Write and prepare reports and presentations, including tables, charts, and graphs
- Provide technical direction, oversight, mentoring, and training to junior‑level staff
- Oversee field work for subsurface investigations, pilot tests, and other environmental projects
- Contaminated site restoration
- Remediation design, installation, and operation
- Environmental compliance and permitting
- Technical oversight and project management
- Must hold a PE license (California or Florida) or be qualified to sit for the exam within the next few months.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferred)
- Progressive experience with increased responsibility in environmental consulting
- Advanced project‑management skills
- Experience with Petroleum Restoration Program requirements (preferred)
- OSHA HAZWOPR 40‑hour certification
- Valid driver’s license required

This role requires working both in a professional office setting and outdoors in environmental fieldwork. The employee must be comfortable walking, stooping, lifting, and standing for extended periods, and must be able to sit for extended periods in front of a computer or laptop. Good hand dexterity and vision (close and distance) are required.
