Job Eligibility and LocationThis job opportunity is available at ANY location in the United States. Ideally, selected candidates will be near a JACOBS U.S. based office, but we intend to hire the “best” candidates.
Responsibilities- Design structural models using Revit and AutoCAD from scratch.
- Coordinate designs with construction trade partners, considering existing conditions and other disciplines.
- Convey structural requirements to the construction team through traditional 2D paper deliverables and/or BIM 3D Revit models.
- Provide leadership for a small project, establishing project standards, procedures, training, and mentoring a team of designers.
- Manage project morale and contribute to a dynamic team delivering world‑class designs.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- At least 5 years drafting/design experience in the structural field.
- At least 1 year of experience with Revit.
- At least 3 years of AutoCAD design experience.
- At least 2 years of Revit experience.
- Experience working on traditional steel and concrete structures.
- Experience leading a team of designers.
- Experience with healthcare, institutional, or commercial buildings.
- Experience with Navisworks and Bluebeam.

SalaryBase pay range: $61,100.00 – $84,000.00 per year. Salary is determined by work location and additional factors, and the position will be paid hourly based on hours worked.
