Carden Christian Academy is seeking a Part‑Time French Teacher to provide engaging instruction for elementary and middle school students. This role introduces students to French vocabulary, pronunciation, conversational skills, and cultural appreciation within a faith‑based, character‑centered learning environment.

The ideal candidate fosters curiosity, confidence, and global awareness while maintaining structured, age‑appropriate instruction aligned with classical education principles.

• Ability to introduce basic grammar concepts in an age‑appropriate way
• Creative instructional strategies (songs, dialogue practice, cultural activities)

• Bachelor’s degree in French, Education, or related field (preferred)
• Minimum of 12 credit hours in French or related specialty area
• Experience teaching elementary and/or middle school students
  
  Weekly instructional session

• Teach weekly French classes using structured lesson plans
• Introduce students to foundational vocabulary and conversational phrases
• Incorporate French culture, geography, and traditions into instruction
• Encourage oral participation and pronunciation practice
• Assess student progress through informal evaluations and participation
• Maintain an organized, respectful, and engaging classroom environment

Compensation: $20 – $25 per hour
