Overview
Adjunct Faculty, Culinary and Hospitality Management (Academic Year 2025 - 2026) s is an open applicant pool; positions are filled by the department on an as-needed basis.
Responsibilities- Provide effective teaching and advising for a diverse student population, with excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Teach culinary skills and knowledge to prepare students to become skilled in the field and to secure employment in their new career.
- Maintain mastery in food sanitation and safety and in-depth knowledge of kitchen utensils and appliances.
- Review and make recommendations for curriculum updates, select textbooks, prepare lesson plans and instructional aids, and deliver class material in a logical manner.
- Maintain high standards of conduct to provide an orderly, safe, and productive classroom environment in a dynamic setting.
- Minimum Qualifications:
Graduation from a regionally accredited institution with an associate degree and 4 years of relevant work experience in culinary; appropriate occupational certification may substitute for two years of relevant work experience. - Successful completion and clearance of a background investigation.
