As part of the continued development of PFK Rural, we are seeking a Senior Land Agent to join the team in Penrith. This role offers an opportunity for an experienced rural surveyor to take a key position within a growing department, working closely with the Head of Rural to help shape the direction of the service while delivering high-quality advice to a diverse client base.

The successful candidate will operate as a land agent within the RICS definition of the role, applying their professional judgement and experience to a wide range of rural property and estate matters.

• Provide clear, commercially focused advice across estate management, property management and consultancy work for private, corporate and institutional clients.
• Deliver services to a high professional standard within an effective fee-charging structure, while contributing to the financial performance of the department.
• Collaborate within established departmental practices and support colleagues to ensure consistency of approach and a positive team culture.
• Work with specialists across PFK, drawing on in-house expertise to add value to client interests and identify cross-disciplinary opportunities.
• Contribute to the development of systems and processes to keep the department efficient, competitive and responsive to client needs.
• Champion PFK Rural across the firm’s network and develop new opportunities throughout the wider Cumbria catchment area.

• Fully RICS qualified with solid experience in rural surveying or land agency.
• Effective communicator, confident dealing with clients and colleagues.
• Ability to manage workloads, financial targets and deadlines.
• Proactive mindset, strong organisational skills and willingness to contribute to business development.
• A commitment to continuing professional development in a changing regulatory and commercial environment.
