Teaching Assistant

Humly is working in partnership with a welcoming primary school in Penrith to recruit a part-time Teaching Assistant to support pupils across upper Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.

This role will start from 26th January 2026 and is expected to continue through the Spring and Summer terms, running until 17th July 2026.

The school is seeking a confident Teaching Assistant who can support learning in busy, engaging classrooms and work flexibly across the school day.

What You’ll Be Doing

* Supporting pupils with learning activities in the classroom

* Working alongside teachers to support lesson delivery

* Providing small-group or individual support where required

* Encouraging engagement, confidence and positive behaviour

* Supporting pupils across upper KS1 and KS2

What You’ll Bring

* Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant

* Confidence supporting pupils in KS1 and/or KS2

* A positive, patient and proactive approach

* Strong communication and teamwork skills

* Ability to adapt to different classroom environments

Pay Structure

* From £13.70 per hour
