Permanent Salary: up to £30,000 DOE Commission We are recruiting a New Business Account Executive to join a successful, well-established, family-run business based in Penrith. This is an exciting opportunity for someone ambitious and people-focused who wants more than just a job and is looking to build a long-term career within a business where their contribution genuinely matters. As a New Business Account Executive, this is a purchasing role with a real difference.
Rather than traditional procurement, you will be proactively engaging with dealerships, manufacturers, and existing clients to purchase used stock. You will represent the business in the market, build trusted relationships, spot commercial opportunities, and negotiate deals that directly support continued growth and success. This role suits someone who enjoys speaking with people, thinks commercially, and wants the freedom to make an impact while developing their skills and career within a supportive and ambitious environment.

Key responsibilities:
Promote the business to dealerships, manufacturers, and key industry partners Approach new and existing clients to purchase their used stock Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships across the sector Negotiate pricing, stock availability, and purchasing terms Develop new business opportunities while maintaining existing accounts Manage detailed product and stock information across multiple brands Process purchase orders accurately, ensuring all product details are correct Work closely with internal teams to align purchasing activity with operational needs Monitor stock levels and purchasing trends to identify opportunities Maintain accurate records of purchasing activity and supplier relationships
