Hannett Hale Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and well regarded rural primary school near Penrith is seeking a confident and organised School Administrator to join their team on a temporary basis to cover a maternity leave.

This is a key front office position where you will support the smooth running of the school. You’ll be the first point of contact for parents, staff, and visitors, and will handle a wide range of administrative tasks.

• Managing the school office and reception area
• Handling phone calls, emails, and parent enquiries
• Maintaining pupil records and supporting attendance processes
• Preparing letters, documents, and reports
• Supporting staff with general administrative tasks
• Liaising with external agencies and suppliers
• Using school systems (training provided if needed)
• Any other general admin duties required to support the school

• Previous school admin experience is desirable but not essential
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Confident using IT systems and learning new software
• Warm, professional, and able to work in a busy environment
• Reliable and committed for the full duration of the contract
