The Forklift Operator plays a key role in a fast-paced warehouse environment, supporting material movement, order fulfillment, shipment preparation, and overall inventory accuracy. This role helps ensure efficient product flow and high-quality service in a climate-controlled distribution setting.
Key Responsibilities- Unload inbound shipments while ensuring accurate receipt of products, packing supplies, and sundry items by verifying correct item, lot number, quantity, and material condition.
- Place materials into appropriate storage locations and maintain accurate location records.
- Perform fast-paced picking of customer orders, ensuring correct item, lot number, and quantity.
- Prepare outbound orders in a customer-friendly manner, including inspecting cartons and packaging materials safely into boxes, containers, and pallets to protect products during shipment.
- Follow departmental SOPs consistently.
- Maintain compliance with Quality Standards and Environmental, Health, and Safety regulations.
- Climate-controlled warehouse environment

- CDC-compliant COVID cleaning and safety precautions
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic computer skills
- Minimum of two years’ experience in general warehouse or manufacturing environments
- Good attendance record and commitment to teamwork
- Previous forklift experience (training provided if not)
- Forklift operation
- Order picking
- Inventory handling
- SAP warehouse management familiarity
- Voice picking experience
- Palletizing and packing accuracy
- Compliance with SOPs
- Understanding of warehouse safety standards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail for item/lot verification
