Delivery Driver

JOB DESCRIPTION

Job requirements:

• Pass drug test
• Clean driving record
• Class A or B CDL
• Complete assigned routes to provide dumpsters pick up to customers
• Dispose of refuse in various landfills
• Complete paperwork, including the use of an electronic tablet throughout the day

Schedule:

• 10-hour shifts

Ability to commute/relocate

• Elizabeth PA, 15037: reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

License/Certification:

• CDL A or CDL B (Required)

Work location:
In-person duties:

• Operate a commercial rear-load truck to empty commercial dumpsters within an assigned route.
• Dispose of refuse in various landfills near the assigned territory
• Ensure safe and efficient operation of the vehicle and adherence to traffic laws
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck and report any maintenance issues
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Previous waste industry experience as a commercial rear-load driver with a MINIMUM of 1 year industry experience is a must have to be considered for this position.
• Knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations
• Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
