Gas Field Specialists, Inc. is seeking a Truck Driver to perform a variety of routine and complex transportation work in driving and coordinating transportation plans in support of our gas services.

• High school diploma or GED equivalent plus one (1) year’s experience driving a water truck, dump truck and/or hauling heavy equipment (REFERRED but not REQUIRED)
• Valid Class A or B CDL License Required
• Must be able to pass all DOT physical requirements and have current medical card
• Tanker Endorsement Preferred

• Operate company-owned and leased water truck, dump truck and winch trucks
• Operate trucks for the delivery, pickup and relocation of products and materials, including the use of a winch as needed
• Perform required before-, during-, and after-operation “user maintenance” and provide required logs/reports
• Perform routine inspection and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment and refer defects or repairs to supervisor; clean equipment
• Perform all duties in conformance to appropriate safety and security standards
• May plan route to insure most economical use of time and equipment
• Maintain all required certifications required by DOT and OSHA and company safety programs
• Provide outstanding customer service during delivery and pickup operations
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor

• Thorough knowledge of traffic laws and defensive driving
• Skill in operation of listed tools and equipment
• Ability to safely drive various vehicles
• Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with employees, supervisors and the general public

• Ability to drive in all weather conditions
• Ability to work nights and weekends
• Ability to perform heavy manual tasks under varying weather conditions
