We provide on‑site mobile maintenance and repair services nationwide for light, medium, and heavy‑duty trucks and trailers, as well as 50+ nationwide service centers offering accident repair, painting, refurbishment, and heavy mechanical repair. A 24/7 in‑house call center schedules maintenance services and responds to unscheduled services anywhere, anytime.

DUTIES
  • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance (PM), DOT inspections, and follow‑up repairs on light, medium, and heavy‑duty vehicles in a mobile/field environment.
  • Make minor adjustments and repairs on various truck equipment, including electrical, brake, cooling, starter/alternator, fan clutches, engine electronics, diesel steering systems, engines (gas and diesel), transmissions, clutches, differentials, etc.
  • Independently manage parts inventory and equipment provided on the company‑issued service truck, performing periodic reconciliation.
  • Maintain and operate the company‑issued service vehicle, conduct safety checks, and perform pre‑/post‑trip inspections.
  • Work with and listen effectively to clients to assess needs, provide information or assistance, resolve problems, and satisfy expectations.
  • Manage concurrent assigned tasks and prioritize work-related activities and time allocations.
  • Use hand tools, precision instruments, diesel tools, welding equipment, lifts, and jacks.
  • Document work performed, parts used, and findings observed on Repair Orders (RO) using the company‑issued iOS device and our proprietary TRAIT application.
  • Complete DOT forms and other documentation promptly and accurately.
  • Work independently and manage own daily schedule.
  • Maintain a high level of productivity and meet standard repair times.
  • Obtain parts from approved local and national vendors as needed.
  • Communicate with management and support via email or phone to obtain approvals on repair estimates and retrieve purchase order numbers.
  • Perform all work in compliance with safety, health, environmental policies, OSHA, EPA, and DOT regulations.
REQUIREMENTS
  • High School Diploma/GED and up to 2 years of related experience.
  • Possess a set of hand tools required for the duties.
  • OEM training and certifications preferred.
  • Participate in and complete all company‑required training.
  • Follow DOT regulations; must pass a DOT‑regulated pre‑employment background screening and DOT physical.
  • Submit a current and valid DOT medical card with >4 months remaining; otherwise a DOT physical is required.
  • Must be ≥21 years old due to interstate operating authority regulations.
  • Valid state driver’s license and ability to maintain a Driver Qualification File.
Required Certifications or Obtained Within 18 Months
  • ASE T8 (PMI) certification.
Preferred Certifications
  • ASE T4 (Brakes) certification.

  • Ability to lift, bend, climb, stand, and walk for extended periods; perform moderately heavy labor.
  • Physical stamina for repetitive tasks.
  • Communicate information succinctly and organize it; engage in effective two‑way communication.
  • Determine appropriate tools and equipment.
  • Accurately judge the distance of objects.
