Overview
Central Penn College is seeking an Assistant Men’s Soccer Coach – Goalkeeper experience preferred – for the upcoming season. Central Penn College is a member of the USCAA and Eastern States Athletic Conference that competes on a national level for small colleges. This position helps oversee all aspects of the men's soccer program and is committed to adhering to all rules and regulations of Central Penn College, the athletic department, and the USCAA.
The Assistant Coach is also responsible for monitoring the academic progress of the men's soccer student athletes in addition to recruiting high school and transfer students for the soccer program and maintaining a healthy roster size. This role will also assist with the planning of the program schedule, facilities, games, and events. This is a part-time, seasonal position.
- Assist with overseeing all aspects of the men’s soccer program.
- Monitor the academic progress of men’s soccer student-athletes.
- Recruit high school and transfer students for the soccer program and maintain a healthy roster size.
- Assist with planning the program schedule, facilities, games, and events.
- Previous college or high school coaching experience; goalkeeper experience preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Previous college soccer playing experience preferred, especially goalkeeper.
- Experience recruiting student athletes is a plus but not required.
- Valid PA driver’s license.
Note:
Relocation expenses will not be provided; current full-time openings are listed on the Central Penn College careers website. Other opportunities for supplementary income are not available.
