AI Engineer

Location: Malvern

Akkodis is seeking an AI Engineer for a Contract with a client in Malvern, PA. You will design and develop AI agents and orchestrate workflows using LLM frameworks.

Rate Range: $55/hour to $60/hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

AI Engineer job responsibilities include:

* Design, develop, and deploy AI agents and LLM‑powered workflows using Python and Lang Chain frameworks.

* Build scalable backend services and integrations using Node.js to support AI agent orchestration and data flows.

* Implement cloud‑native AI architectures on AWS, leveraging services such as Lambda, S3, API Gateway, ECS/EKS, or Bedrock.

* Create, test, and optimize agentic pipelines, including tool integrations, prompt flows, and model‑driven decision logic.

* Monitor and troubleshoot AI system performance, ensuring reliability, efficiency, and secure operation in production environments.

* Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business problems into technical AI solutions and ensure seamless deployment.

Required Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in computer science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

* 6-8 years of professional experience in AI/ML engineering, backend development, or cloud‑based solution engineering.

* Strong hands‑on expertise in Python, AWS Cloud, and Node.js, with proven experience building AI/LLM‑driven applications.

* Practical experience developing agentic AI solutions using Lang Chain or similar frameworks, with the ability to design, deploy, and optimize LLM workflows in production.

Pay Details: $55.00 to $60.00 per hour
