Volker Legacy Holdings is seeking a reliable and skilled Part-Time Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for maintaining the overall appearance, safety, and functionality of our residential properties. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in general maintenance, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service to our residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general maintenance and repairs in areas such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and appliances
- Conduct regular property inspections and identify needed repairs
- Maintain landscaping, curb appeal, and assist with snow removal
- Complete unit turns efficiently under the direction of the Property Manager
- Follow preventive maintenance schedules and ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Respond promptly to resident maintenance requests and after-hours emergencies (on-call rotation)
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed
- Adhere to all Fair Housing laws and company policies
- Provide friendly, professional customer service to residents and team members
- Previous maintenance or general repair experience required
- Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues efficiently
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
- Ability to lift or move up to 50 lbs
