We provide commercial kitchen equipment and refrigeration, sales, installation and maintenance service to primarily restaurants, supermarkets, convenience stores, and other commercial/industrial businesses. The pay range varies depending on skill level and prior experience.

We are looking for a Refrigeration Technician within a 45-mile radius of our Effort PA shop location. Take ownership of your future and grow with us.

• Travel from site to site to service and maintain our customers’ refrigeration and cooking equipment.
• Self-motivation and communication are key.
• Repairing/replacing commercial kitchen appliances.
• Communicating issues, diagnostics, parts and pricing.
• Keep your vehicle clean inside and out.
• Arrive at jobs within your scheduled time frame.
• Order parts and provide customers with estimates for repair or replacement when necessary.
• Ability to read and identify system components.
• Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the refrigeration cycle.
• Perform preventive maintenance inspections and procedures; maintain the workplace (including the service van) in a neat, clean, and safe condition.
• Work and drive safely, using appropriate safety gear and techniques.
• Project a professional image to associates and customers.

• Proven experience as a Refrigeration Technician.
• Ability to travel.
• Must have or acquire own hand tools.
• Meet all physical demands of the position.
• Effective communication with customers, management and coworkers.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments with changing priorities.
• Ability to work on a team or independently.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, including ohmmeters and other relevant equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
• A current driver’s license with a clean driving record and no pending or prior DUI charges is required.
• Agreement to a background check.
• EPA Certification.
• Licenses:
  Valid Driver's License (Required).

• Schedule:
  
  10 hour shift, 8 hour shift, Monday to Friday, On call, Overtime, Rotating weekends, Weekends as needed.
