Tristate Buildings is a growing construction company specializing in agricultural, commercial, and residential custom buildings. The company builds every project with integrity, quality craftsmanship, and genuine care for both clients and coworkers.
What You'll Do as a Skilled Construction Worker- Assist with framing, truss setting, wall assembly, and other structural work on custom buildings.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and correctly on active job sites.
- Load materials and tools at the shop and travel with the crew to job sites.
- Install siding, roofing, insulation, windows, and doors as projects progress.
- Follow the foreman's plans and directions to complete work accurately.
- Learn proper construction techniques, material installation, and jobsite best practices.
- Keep tools, materials, and work areas organized and jobsite-ready.
- Work on projects ranging from short builds to multi-week jobs.
- Experienced: 2-3 years of hands-on construction experience required; experience in framing, carpentry, post-frame construction, roofing, siding, or similar trades is all relevant.
- Teachable & Reliable: Follows directions, works safely, shows up consistently, and can be counted on to do the job right.
- Team-oriented: Works well with others, communicates clearly with the crew and foreman, and contributes to a positive jobsite.
- Quality-focused: Pays attention to details, takes pride in workmanship, and cares about building things correctly.
- Problem-solver: Notices issues, speaks up when something isn't right, and helps find practical solutions.
- Professional: Treats coworkers, customers, and job sites with respect and represents the company well.
- Active: Able to bend, kneel, stand for long periods, climb ladders, work from heights, and lift up to 75 lbs.
- Must have own
basic personal hand tools for the job.
- $25-$29/hour, DOE
- Overtime pay calculated daily
- Full-time, typically 45-50 hours per week with start times between 5:00-6:00 a.m., most days home by around 5:00 p.m.
