Trailer Mechanic

Overview

RSS Mobile Trailer Repair is a growing powerhouse in the Trucking Industry. Founded over 30 years ago, RSS has grown a workforce of nearly 400 team members with a presence in more than 15 states. We are seeking candidates to join our expanding team in the Lewisberry, PA area.

Trailer Mechanics are responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on semi-trailers to ensure they are safe and compliant with regulatory standards. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, technical expertise and strong knowledge of trailer systems and components.

• Inspect and diagnose all trailer systems.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and replace defective components.
• Perform preventative maintenance on trailers and parts, including but not limited to: ABS, frame, body, doors, tires and electrical systems.
• Independently motivated professional, dedicated to providing top-notch service.
• Maintain positive working relationships with customers.
• Properly operate the mobile Service Truck.
• Work efficiently and safely in a fast-paced environment to maximize fleet availability.
• Follow all safety requirements while servicing trailers and while driving the Service Truck.

• Monday-Friday: 6:00am-2:30pm.

• Strong knowledge of trailer repair and maintenance techniques.
• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Ability to pass a physical and Drug Screen.
• Ability to lift 50lbs.

• $25-$30/hour starting pay based on experience.
• Quarterly Safety & Performance Bonuses after 90 days.
