Front End Loader Operator

Position Overview

West Penn Heavy Haul LLC is seeking an experienced Loader Operator to support rig moves and the safe relocation of drilling rigs and heavy equipment. This role is critical for positioning materials and equipment on job sites and ensuring efficient and safe field operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate loaders to move and position equipment, materials, and machinery during rig moves
• Assist with loading, unloading, and staging of equipment and materials for rig move operations
• Handle heavy equipment and materials with proper loading and securement techniques to prevent damage
• Prepare and clear job sites for equipment setup, ensuring a safe and organized working environment
• Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting on loaders
• Follow all company safety protocols, site-specific procedures, and OSHA regulations
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, operators, riggers, and field personnel to coordinate tasks
• Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, inspections, and maintenance activities
• Support field operations as needed between rig moves

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience operating loaders, preferably in oil and gas, construction, or heavy haul operations
• Valid loader operator certification or equivalent training
• Knowledge of rig move procedures, equipment handling, and safety practices
• Physically capable of performing demanding fieldwork, including lifting, carrying, and climbing
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver materials weighing up to 50 lbs
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to operate heavy equipment safely for extended periods
