Mechanic; 1st Shift

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Mechanic to join our client's maintenance team on the 1st shift. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience in mechanical repair, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure the reliability and efficiency of equipment and facility operations. This role requires attention to detail, technical ability, and a strong commitment to safety and teamwork.

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on mechanical systems and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues efficiently.
• Replace or rebuild mechanical components as needed to maintain optimal performance.

• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance activities according to established schedules.
• Document maintenance tasks, findings, and parts used.
• Recommend improvements to maintenance procedures and equipment reliability.

• Follow all company safety protocols, including lockout/tagout procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Report potential safety hazards and participate in safety meetings and audits.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training preferred.
• 3+ years of experience as a mechanic in an industrial, manufacturing, or facility maintenance setting.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, manuals, and diagrams.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.

• Mechanical Maintenance Certification
• OSHA Safety Certification

• Competitive hourly rate between $25 and $30 per hour
