Diesel Mechanic – WM

Compensation & Benefits- Starting salary: $28‑$30.00 per hour (depends on experience)
- Tool allowance: $400 quarterly
- Boot allowance: $150 twice a year
- Monday – Friday, 1:00 pm – 9:30 pm (no weekends)
- Stable hours for financial security and work‑life balance
- Repair/maintenance shop at West Sunbury, PA hauling site
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems on a wide range of vehicles and equipment.
- Estimate time and material costs for vehicle repairs and parts.
- Perform work within Standard Labor Repair Times (SRTs).
- Respond to emergency breakdown service calls.
- Conduct safety checks on vehicles, prioritizing employee and community safety.
- Complete required paperwork, documenting parts usage and repair times.
- Assist senior mechanics with project work.
- Review and finalize repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports.
- Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate/OSHA standards.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Over 18 years of age.
- Legal eligibility to work in the United States.
- Ability to perform physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Successful completion of pre‑employment drug screen and physical.
- Team players who care about everyone in the shop.

- Seeks variety; embraces daily challenges.
- Determined problem‑solvers.
- Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, crouching, and climbing; constant standing, walking, and grasping.
- Occasional sitting and balancing.
- Exposure to physical occupational risks (cuts, burns, toxic chemicals, etc.).
- Exposure to environmental elements (dirt, odors, noise, weather extremes).
- Work inside garage/shop or outside conditions, including inclement weather, heat, and humidity.
