In this role, you’ll conduct comprehensive assessments of HVAC equipment, present repair and replacement options, and ensure every customer is fully informed and satisfied. With ongoing training opportunities at our on‑site facility, Gary & Sons offers you the tools to succeed and grow, both technically and professionally.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:- Provides heating and cooling service, repairs, and maintenance. This includes HVAC, heat pumps, ducted systems, boilers, etc.
- Communicates all information to the office by opening/closing jobs in electronic scheduling system to include but not limited to, job arrival, job completion, follow up notes/summary of work completed, etc.
- Obtains the customer’s approval for work and obtains payment on‑site as appropriate.
- Maintains clean, neat vehicles and job sites and projects a clean, well‑groomed professional appearance always.
- Assumes responsibility for trucks, diagnostic tools, and uniforms.
- Serves as a teacher and leads by example to apprentices on the job site.
- Attends group meetings and training, as needed. Participates in monthly and special company meetings, as appropriate.
- Uses good judgment and self‑control in areas wherein the company entrusts him/her to maintain company and customer confidentiality.
- Establish a sound positive work relationship with all members of the Gary & Sons team. Must be able to listen and implement all suggested feedback received.
- Customer Satisfaction: Provide clear explanations and educate customers about their HVAC systems, offering preventive maintenance tips and energy‑saving recommendations. Maintain customer satisfaction rate through post‑service surveys and feedback. Strive to exceed customer expectations and resolve any concerns promptly.
- First‑Time Fix Rate: Achieve a best‑in‑class first‑time fix rate by accurately diagnosing issues, arriving fully prepared with necessary tools and parts, and effectively completing repairs during the initial service call.
- Response Time: Respond to service requests within Gary & Sons’ defined time frame. Timely response ensures customer comfort and builds trust.
- Service Revenue Generation: Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC equipment issues, recommending appropriate solutions and discussing options with customers. Consistently meet or exceed monthly service revenue targets, contributing to the company’s financial growth and success.
