Security Guard – Armed Patrol Retail – Spring, TX

As a Patrol Armed Officer at a busy retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to deter security‑related incidents, provide outstanding customer service, and maintain both armed readiness and a valid driver’s license when required for driving duties.

• Provide customer service by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, utilizing training and judgment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to deter unwanted activity and maintain a visible presence.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to deter theft, unauthorized access, and/or suspicious behavior.
• Maintain awareness of surroundings and report any unusual activity or security‑related concerns to management and/or law enforcement as needed.
• Document all incidents, observations, and actions taken during the shift in accordance with Allied Universal and client protocols.
• Remain armed and prepared to respond to high‑risk situations in accordance with post orders and Allied Universal policies.

• Armed guard card or license is required.
• Valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
