As a  
** Security Officer - Truck Gate

** New Holland, PA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal in a food and beverage location, you will monitor entry points, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents. You will interact with visitors and staff, provide outstanding customer service, and utilize technology such as badge systems and alarm panels.

** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a food and beverage production location.

+ Monitor and control access to the facility, verifying credentials and authorizations for employees, visitors, and vendors to help to deter unauthorized entry.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the food and beverage industry.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter prohibited activities and identify potential security-related concerns.

+ Document observations, incidents, and activities in daily reports as required by Allied Universal and client site policies.

+ Collaborate with site personnel and law enforcement as needed to address security-related issues and/or emergencies.

+ Maintain awareness of site-specific policies and procedures relevant to access control and the unique requirements of a food and beverage production environment.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + Access control or badge experience is preferred.

+ Alarm panel experience is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
