PENN Entertainment is looking for a Security Officer to protect property and life, enforce safety regulations, and ensure guest satisfaction at Hollywood Casino. The role involves performing a range of duties to support profitability, workforce strength, and compliance.

• Perform and complete all duties necessary to comply with PGCB mandated requirements, including gaming-related drops, card and dice reconciliation.
• Greet guests and staff in a positive, friendly, and professional manner.
• Regulate vehicle and pedestrian traffic at plant entrance to maintain orderly flow as directed.
• Ensure compliance with Hollywood Casino's responsibility to prevent over-consumption of alcohol.
• Provide escorts for guests, vendors, and funds.
• Conduct bag inspections according to policy.
• Conduct identification checks according to policy.
• Report unsafe conditions and suspicious activity.
• Conduct outside patrols via vehicle or walking.

• High School Diploma/GED or six months to one year of work experience demonstrating sound judgment and dependability, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to effectively communicate with customers and other employees.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
• Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Must qualify for a license with the Pennsylvania State Racing Commission and meet any credentialing requirements of the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.
• Must have a valid driver's license and clear driving record.

Walking 40% of the time; sitting 10%; standing 40%; bending and lifting 10%.
