Responsibilities
  • Observing all casino operations via surveillance cameras and taping any potential cheating infractions.
  • Operating all surveillance computer equipment.
  • Monitoring/patrolling all areas of the facility through the pan, tilt and zoom cameras and recording all pertinent activity on the video recording systems.
  • Logs and marks recordings and files them in one of several repositories depending on the activity depicted. Notifying appropriate staff when infractions, cheating, etc. are observed.
  • Reporting improper activity or disturbances to supervisor or security team for further investigation.
  • In the absence of the salaried shift supervisor, the Lead Agent assumes the supervisory responsibility for the assigned shift.
  • Completing daily activity report, noting any pertinent facts.
  • Ensuring compliance with applicable state gaming regulations.
  • Maintaining all steps of the Red Carpet Customer Service program with each guest and cast member.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Minimum of 6 months casino surveillance experience.
  • Must possess computer skills; working knowledge of surveillance equipment and digital recording systems preferred.
  • Must operate under strict confidentiality and fraternization policies due to the nature of work performed.
  • Must be able to work in a low light environment.
  • Must qualify for licensing by Maryland Gaming Commission
