Contacts assigned customer accounts or prospects to sell company products within a designated geography or industry. Focuses on meeting personal sales targets, new business development, maintaining customer relationships, and troubleshooting specific customer problems. Requires solid knowledge of products, their characteristics, and market and good general education, excellent interpersonal skills, and sales experience.
Responsibilities- Under general direction with a high level of autonomy, represent the Raymond James Structured Investments Platform externally to create new and manage existing relationships with Raymond James financial advisors to drive departmental sales and increase utilization throughout a given territory.
- Provide balanced education on all products on the RJ SI Platform designed to drive sales while consistent with the firm's conservative nature.
- Provide face‑to‑face support in a specific territory through individual or group meetings, branch visits, Zoom, and conference appearances.
- Lead efforts in all aspects of the sales process and develop and implement a business plan within the territory.
- Build and maintain relationships with financial advisors to drive department sales objectives and increase advisor utilization.
- Work closely with other consultant team members to meet sales goals through leads from referrals, marketing campaigns, and territory canvassing.
- Deliver effective presentations to large audiences.
- Maintain activity logs and databases to create and maintain financial advisor profiles.
- Manage expenses within the allotted budget.
- Collaborate with product management, platform management, and custom solutions teams to support platform evolution and provide feedback.
- Organize, manage, and execute objectives with minimal oversight, strong attention to detail, professionalism, and timeliness.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Knowledge:
- Advanced knowledge of the Structured Investments industry.
- Principles of banking, finance, and securities industry operations.
- Financial markets, products, advisory function, and investment process.
- Advanced investment concepts, practices, and procedures used in the industry.
- MS Office Applications.

- Preparing and delivering clear, convincing, and professional sales presentations.

- Analyzing business processes and identifying improvement opportunities.

- Educational & Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in business, finance, or a related discipline and a minimum of eight years’ experience in the financial services industry.
- OR any equivalent combination of experience, education, and/or training approved by Human Resources.
- Licenses/Certifications:
- Required:
FINRA Series 7, Series 66 or 63/65, SIE (provided that an exemption or grandfathering cannot be applied) or ability to obtain within 90 days. - Preferred: CAIA, CFP, CFA, CIMA, or MBA.
- Required:
50‑75% travel within the Central Region.
Salary Range$35,568.00‑$.
Education & ExperienceEducation:
High School (HS).
Work Experience:
General Experience – 6 to 10 years.
