Sales Manager, Business Development

Overview
BDM Mobility North America (relocation to Detroit). This role is for a leader with an entrepreneurial mindset to join Intellias as part of building an international sales organization focused on Mobility in the EU and US markets.
Join in and grow within the worldwide IT community. Intellias is a mid-market software engineering pure-play with offices in Chicago, Munich, Guildford, Dubai, and engineering hubs across Europe, the Middle East, and the Americas.
What you will do- Identify prospective accounts and relevant contacts to create business opportunities.
- Reach out to target contacts and promote services.
- Network with professional contacts to generate referrals and nurture relationships.
- Participate in organized sales and marketing campaigns and industry events.
- Collaborate with external and internal stakeholders to convert opportunities into signed contracts.
- Coordinate with delivery to ensure fulfillment in terms of quality, schedule, and budget.
- Monitor client satisfaction and assist in problem escalation and resolution.
- Manage legal aspects of business relationships, such as legal paperwork renewal.
- Maintain ongoing relationships with clients to ensure continuation and growth of the business.
- Maintain and update CRM records for prospective accounts.
- Provide financial forecasting for opportunity pipeline.
- Prepare Account Development Plans and other reports as requested by management.
- 5+ years of experience in sales or related roles targeting the US Automotive and Transportation industry with a focus on onboard/offboard software services and solutions.
- Proven track record in selling to US-based OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers and in over-achieving sales goals.
- Experience in B2B business within automotive and transportation industries.
- Deep understanding of the Automotive ecosystem and key players, including budgeting and investment cycles.
- Good understanding of the digital automotive software ecosystem:
Navigation/maps, Embedded, IVI/HMI, AD/ADAS, Connected Mobility, Backend/Cloud, AI/ML, and related areas. - Understanding of outsourcing industry, business models, sales cycles and markets.
- Proven ability to qualify prospects and close deals.
- Experience creating and reviewing proposals and MSAs/SOWs.
- Existing network within EU OEMs and Tier 1s (a big plus).
- Ability to develop and maintain relationships at all levels.
- Technical background in automotive/transportation is a plus.
- Ability to operate efficiently in a remote, international, geographically distributed team.
- Experience with modern sales techniques from lead generation to negotiation and post-sales account development.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with willingness to take risks and operate under uncertainty.
- Highly motivated, target-oriented self-starter with a proactive attitude.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Willingness and ability to travel frequently.
- Higher Education in Computer Science/Electrical Engineering or Electronics;
Bachelor’s/Master’s/MBA is a plus.
