How does that sound to you?
As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for acquiring and strategically expanding the customer base in German‑speaking Switzerland. The role involves identifying market potential, analyzing customer needs, and developing and presenting tailor‑made solutions through to the successful conclusion of contracts. Other core tasks include achieving sales targets, managing sales projects, and maintaining long‑term customer relationships.
- Acquiring and hunting for new customers
- Responsibility for actively establishing and expanding the customer base in German‑speaking Switzerland
- Qualifying potential customers, arranging appointments by telephone, and conducting sales talks with customers through to the conclusion of contracts
- Annual sales target, including monitoring and corrective measures
- Sales project responsibility and management as well as administrative maintenance of projects
- Giving presentations to customers as well as representing and participating in events
- Independently creating, processing, and following up on offers
- Analyzing customer needs and continuously monitoring customer and market requirements
- Conducting competition and potential analyses
We are looking for someone who combines knowledge, experience, and passion:
- Enjoy hunting, acquiring, and winning new customers
- Ambitious personality with a winning and convincing manner
- High degree of customer focus with a solution‑ and success‑oriented approach to work
- Analytical skills and strong negotiation skills
- Completed vocational training in a commercial, business or technical field
- 3–5 years of professional experience in field sales, ideally in the IT environment
- High sales orientation and strong affinity for technical informatics
- Flexibility and high level of commitment
- Independent and autonomous working style
- Fluent German and business fluent English, both written and spoken;
French is an advantage
