What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers and agencies in the assigned territory through various communication methods
  • Drive sales efforts by managing the end-to-end sales process, ensuring a seamless experience for brokers and clients
  • Identify and pursue growth opportunities to expand the employer's footprint in the territory
  • Develop and manage broker partnerships, enhancing engagement and expanding the network of contacts
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in group health benefits and markets, providing strategic insights to brokers and agency partners
What is Required (Qualifications):
  • A bachelor’s degree is preferred
  • Generally, 2+ years of professional experience is preferred, with a focus on Group Health sales or marketing being a plus
  • Must be able to obtain a Life and Health license in applicable states
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment with a strong desire for career growth
  • Willingness to travel up to 15% to engage with agents and brokers in the assigned territory
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
  • Experience in Group Health sales or marketing
  • Other sales backgrounds and military service will also be considered
  • Strong networking and relationship-building skills
