Account Manager III - Identification Products (Labels & Printable Tubing) Job Overview

TE Connectivity’s Identification Products team delivers labeling, markers, printable tubing, and identification solutions used across industrial, transportation, aerospace, energy and communication markets. The Account Manager III plays a central role in driving revenue, expanding account penetration, and representing TE’s identification portfolio to both existing and new customers.

Customer

Relationship Management & Market Development
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers in markets requiring identificationpthread products such as labels, markers, heat‑shrink and non‑shrink printable tubing, and printing systems.
  • Drive demand creation through proactive outreach—self‑driven phone activity,teness meetings, and in‑person visits.
  • Position TE as a trusted advisor by providing guidance on product selection, application suitability, and cost‑effective identification solutions.
Sales Strategy & Opportunity Growth
  • Conduct strategic account planning aligned with business unit goals for the Identification Products segment.
  • Proactively identify new opportunities across OEMs, distribution partners, and end users.
  • Promote TE’s value proposition across identification solutions, highlighting performance, printability, durability, certifications, and system compatibility.
  • Coordinate with Field Engineers and product specialists to drive technical evaluations and customer qualification programs.
Internal Collaboration & Customer Support
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer needs including quotations, lead times, complaint resolution, logistics coordination, and technical information.
  • Maintain mota internal partnerships with customer service, marketing, supply chain, engineering, and pricing teams to ensure timely, high‑quality customer support.
Pipeline Management & Reporting
  • Utilize Salesforce CRM for opportunity tracking, customer interactions, forecasting, pipeline conversions, and territory reporting.
  • Maintain high ժ accuracy and cadence in CRM entries to support organizational visibility and decision making.
  • Follow up on financial matters such as receivables, credit concerns, and payment schedules.
Market Knowledge

  • Stay current on identificationെത്ത industry trends, competitive products, evolving print technologies, material durability requirements, regulatory certifications, and application‑specific needs. Examg.
  • Gather, analyze, and apply market intelligence to strengthen value propositions and guide customer conversations.

What Your Background Should Look Like

Bachelor’s degree.

  • Minimum of 5 years of sales experience (technical or industrial sales preferred).

  • Proven ability to self‑drive results through high‑volume phone engagement and consistent in‑person customer interaction.
  • Strong organizational skills with a proactive, results‑oriented mindset.
  • Fluent oral and written English.
Preferred
  • Experience in Identification Products market—labels, markers, printable tubing, or industrial labeling systems.
  • Hands‑on familiarity with marking and printing systems (thermal transfer printers, shrink tubing printers, etc.).
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce CRM for pipeline management and reporting.
  • Strong business and financial acumen.
  • Ability to influence cross‑functional teams and collaborate in a matrix environment.
