• Collaborate with other associates to build a strong meat team; communicate with teammates and be flexible to the needs of the business to work in other areas.
• Demonstrate knowledge of floor and backroom operations, product safety standards, sanitation guidelines, inventory management, and the operation, maintenance, and sanitization of equipment; prepare meat products according to established standards.
• Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; use hand‑held technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality.
• Commit to operational excellence; maintain work area according to company policies; ensure quality and date control standards; secure fragile and high‑shrink merchandise; eliminate waste; assist members with purchasing decisions; ensure merchandise is properly packaged, labeled, and stored.
• Advocate for the department and the club by valuing the member's experience in the meat area; execute the basics at the highest possible level of quality; exhibit energy, commitment, and passion for the work.
• Comply with company policies, procedures, and ethics; implement related action plans; use the Open Door Policy.
• Complete work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, co‑workers, customers, and other business partners; identify priorities, deadlines, and expectations; communicate progress; determine and recommend ways to address improvement opportunities.

Premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Successfully complete all required trainings and assessments within a prescribed time period if hired

• Experience in meat processing, packing, or similar environment (preferred but not required)
