Position:
Parts Warehouse Clerk

Overtime and additional workdays may be scheduled.

• Perform inventory control of spare parts, plant supplies, maintenance tools and repair items.
• Receive inbound shipments and support the facility by ensuring the maintenance department has parts to perform repairs and preventative maintenance.
• Operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Count, weigh or measure items of incoming shipments in order to verify information against purchase orders, acknowledgements and bills of lading.
• Examine products for defects and accuracy, report any shortage and defective items to Purchasing Manager.
• Update internal databases with Purchase Order details (vendors, quantities, discounts, part numbers and cost).
• Store incoming items in storeroom or other designated areas, or deliver items directly to a department or specified location.
• Perform cycle counts on supplies and spare parts.
• Assist in taking annual physical inventories of supplies, store items and tools.
• Maintain housekeeping of storeroom and area outside of storeroom at all times.
• Assist in other areas as needed and perform other duties as assigned.
• Always use safe work practices, follow all safety rules and procedures, immediately report any hazardous conditions, and fully participate in safety programs.
• Moderate physical exertion requiring standing, walking and lifting 50lbs.
• Must have knowledge of computers and ability to learn new software.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Ability to continuously prioritize responsibilities to meet the needs of a changing environment.
